We are over the moon to have been awarded 99th place in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for 2019. Representatives from the Matrix team headed to the award ceremony in Battersea on Wednesday evening to celebrate with the other amazing companies who also made the shortlist.
We’re so proud of what the team at Matrix continues to achieve together and this award is a fantastic way to recognise and celebrate that. This has been our first year completing the Sunday Times survey and has highlighted our core strengths as a business, particularly around our unique culture and team spirit and we’re looking forward to building on this success in 2019.
So, what’s the magic ingredient that makes Matrix a great place to work? The answer is in our people and culture. Everything we do starts and ends with this. Our view is that if you hire great people and nurture an amazing culture, then the rest just falls into place. Our success has always been and will continue to be, a product of having these two key ingredients in place.
As a small company, there’s always lots going on and a variety of projects to get involved with so nobody’s restricted by set job roles; It’s the positive, ambitious energy of the team that drives the Matrix culture and everyone’s always willing to go out of their way to help other people.
Since day one, it’s always been an ambition of Charlie’s (Founder CEO) to make it into the list and he is delighted with the result “I am absolutely thrilled that Matrix has been recognised as one of the top 100 companies to work for. I am incredibly proud of Matrix and its achievements, but most of all, the amazing people working within it. Creating an entrepreneurial environment has been one of the big success factors for Matrix. I want everyone to come to work knowing the possibilities are endless and they can impact at every level, no matter where you sit in the organisation.”
