As you might’ve heard, earlier in the year we won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Sustainable Development category.
The award is the UK’s most prestigious marker of business performance, which really pays tribute to the hard work carried out by the Matrix team, day in and day out. So, when the day came to receive the award, we were thrilled to have the crystal chalice presented to us by Lambeth’s Representative Deputy Lieutenant, Ms Rosi Prescott. Our founder and CEO, Charlie Bradshaw, later joined the other winners at an exclusive event held at Buckingham Palace to receive official thanks from The Queen.
We are immensely proud to have won a Queen’s Award. With the help of everyone at Matrix, many thousands of workers’ lives have been positively affected meaning they lead a far better quality of life than they did a few years ago.
Thanks to the core members of the team for their hard work and commitment to the commercial goals we’re trying to achieve as well as surpassing our social and ethical expectations.
That said, we are only at the beginning of our journey and will strive for continuous improvement.
The question now is how do you outdo a Queen’s Award?
