The first brand I want to talk about is Miller Harris, a super experiential fragrance brand who, thanks to the recent appointment of their hugely talented CEO, Sarah Rotherham, are really pushing boundaries in the fragrance world.
If you aren’t familiar with Miller Harris, I would highly recommend trying out their fragrances; my personal favourites are Rose Silence and Scherzo – both amazing!
The award-winning brand has recently brought out a new range called ‘Evening Detox‘ which is anti-pollution skincare to detoxify, decongest and rejuvenate. My pick from this range would definitely be the spray on exfoliant; city living blocks pores and makes my skin feel gross so this is the perfect product for me and I love that you can spray it on – makes it feel like a premium experience!
The husband and wife duo behind the iconic prints that feature on Desmond and Dempsey pyjamas, were struggling to find the perfect classic PJ set to wear to bed, so they decided to create their own. A modern take on the classic pyjama, with bold prints and a range of styles available in male and female so you can have the perfect Sunday, every day,
My favourite set is definitely the Howie pineapple print camie set which is very cute! I’m now also obsessed with the Sunday scent sandalwood candle – love love love this brand and am very excited to follow their journey.
The brains behind Cambridge Satchel Company, Julie Deane, started making satchels with the aim to make enough money to send her kids to a better school; the brand became an Instagram phenomenon and grew from nothing to £8m turnover in 3 years with 86 companies worldwide – such an inspiring brand story and a great role model to anyone wanting to launch a brand.
I particularly loved their collaboration with Vivienne Westwood and have just treated myself to a magnetic satchel in red.
My final ‘brand of the moment’ is Rains, the Scandi brand who are really having a moment in London at the moment – there’s a rains backpack wandering around wherever you go!
The iconic finish on their product is what sets this brand apart – amazing, matt, rubbery texture, unlike anything I’ve seen before in this area. I’m eyeing up their weekend bag in black as a near-future purchase – payday is just around the corner after all!
