Bershka

The Brief

Inditex, the world’s largest fashion retail group, approached Matrix to create a 35-piece, internationally compliant, Bershka branded collection of cosmetics and range of eau de toilettes. This was to be Bershka’s first foray into beauty and needs to be fully designed and developed from scratch.

The Work

Packaging, bottle designs and fragrances were conceptualised and brought to life by the Matrix design team. Initial concepts were printed on Matrix’s 3D printer so Inditex could review the perfume bottle and components as tangible prototypes. Scent examples were presented with a guide to the different fragrances, while product samples were submitted so buying teams could see the overall look of the range. Meanwhile, we ensured the products met wide-ranging safety regulations in 40 territories.

The Result

Matrix created a stand-out cosmetics and fragrance line matching their brand personality in bespoke designs and bottles.

The range generated significant online PR around the launch including a launch campaign in their store windows.

The project was full designed and delivered within 6 months and was a great example of our ‘fast beauty’ credentials.
